Colin Dunn Colin Dunn is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years’ experience working in and with the accounting profession on three continents. He coaches accountants, consults to professional service firms and trains and speaks in both the accountancy and financial planning arenas. “My passion lies in helping accountants break out of the drudgery of compliance work so that they can embrace the much more rewarding opportunities that lie in providing business owners with a more valuable range of services. That is the culture I grew up with in the firm I trained with in England. We had 25-30% growth for nine consecutive years whilst I was there - all organic, no acquisition. It's the reason we created TRUST; to help accountants identify and position services that their clients truly need. Some of my best work has been in helping accountants design services that match clients' needs and then in assisting them to create scripting and communication materials to position and sell those services in a way that sits nicely with their own style AND adds significant value to clients." A co-founder of ReNew Group, Colin has been instrumental in the development of TRUST and its introduction to the accounting profession. He has also led a project to develop a customised version of TRUST for financial planners which has been adapted as part of the recommended marketing and client service development protocols by Genesys Wealth Advisers, with a particular focus on helping planners develop joint venture relationships with accountants. |
