Here we are in 2023, with already a month gone. Time flies, and the ReNew mindset is critical to success.
One of our principles is that subtraction is stronger than addition. We have adopted this principle from the author Nassim Taleb.
What does it really mean?
Here are some examples.
If you have too many clients.. you will have more impact shedding clients than adding new ones.
If your calendar is overloaded you will improve your condition more by deleting unnecessary tasks and meetings rather than adding technology to manage your calendar.
If you have too much work to do.. rather than adding team members.. maybe you should do less work.
The most effective leaders focus on doing the right things.. as opposed to being more efficient doing the wrong things.
You get the gist. Less is more.
The New Year is a good time to reset your mindset. Subtraction may be a powerful way to go about it.
