Time Savers!

In today's fast-paced world, time is a valuable commodity, and many of us often struggle to find enough of it in our day.

However, what if we told you that you could get six hours back per week with just a few adjustments to your mindset and communication strategy?

This secret sauce is a competitive advantage that can help you achieve greater success in both your personal and professional life.

The first step towards reclaiming your time is recognizing that this time is your scarcest resource. You need to treat it accordingly and make the most of every minute you have.

For most CPA firm partners, a minimum of 15 hours per week is spent in internal and external meetings. However, by reducing meeting times by just 20%, you can save yourself three hours per week. This can be achieved by cutting one-hour meetings down to 48 minutes and 30-minute meetings down to 24 minutes. Remember, you must stand up for your time because no one else will.

Skip one 30-minute meeting per week, one that you don't necessarily need to be in. Instead of constantly checking your email and phone messages throughout the day, consider checking them just three times per day. This can save you a total of 2.5 hours saved per week.

Finally, consider having one day per week where you do not book any meetings. This will help you become more productive by giving you the time and space to focus on your work without any interruptions. By following these simple adjustments, you can save up to six hours per week, which can be used to focus on other important tasks, both personal and professional.

Remember, your time is a valuable commodity; make most of every minute!
